Japan '09 Predeparture Self-Reflection Part 2

Certainly my month stay prior to our "anniversary" will influence my playlist of activities so none of this is for sure. More like guidelines than itinerary but whatever, here it is. Also the final installment of the Self-Reflection series will be 1-2 before my departure so depending on my to do list there may be more posts in between now and then. Can't wait to see the comment area of this post filled with complaints filed by none other than RLW-F III.

July 30^th Depart LAX (1:20pm)

July 31^st Arrive NRT (4:30)

August 31-9 Tokyo

July 31^st

-Rendezvous at airport and take Yamanote line to Shimbashi, Ginza exit to hotel.

-Check in Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza

August 1^st

-Rendezvous at airport and take Yamanote line to Shimbashi, Ginza exit to hotel.

-Check in Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza

-Leave for Nekobukuro via Yamanote line to Ikebukuro, east exit

-Explore Seibu/Tabu (huge department stores +50 restaurants)

August 2^nd

-Imperial Palace +East garden sightseeing

-Go to Asakusa and see 5-storied pagoda and hella shrines

-Take Sumida Gawa Cruise back to ginza and hang out

August 3^rd

-Check out of Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza/Check in Shibuya City Hotel

-Explore Ebisu and Daikanyama

-Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography

August 4^th

-Tokyo Bay and Odaiba

-Go nuts

-Kibuki?

August 5^th

-Sanrio Theme parks

-Leave for Nekobukuro via Yamanote line to Ikebukuro, east exit

-Explore Seibu/Tabu (huge department stores +50 restaurants)

August 6^th

-More Sanrio/other?

-Shinjuku

-Pentax Forum

August 7^th

-Summer Sonic music fest

August 8^th

 -Disneyland

August 9^th

- Leave for Kyoto via JR

- Kyoto tower + explore

-Check in Tour Club (10 Minute walk from Kyoto Station)

Aug 10^th-16

August 10^th

-Manga Museum

-Hella Shrines/Temples

August 11^th

-Nara

August 12^th

-Nara again?

August 13^th

-Kyoto Imperial Palace + Gardens

August 14^th

-Visit Mibu-Dera and become Samurai

-More of whatever we thought was cool

-Relax/Crystal Meth

-Check out Tour Club

-Leave for Tokyo to catch flight via JR
